Haematology

Haematology is the study of the bodies blood cells. Different conditions produce different types of changes with both the white and red cells in the blood.

The red cells are those responsible for carrying oxygen.

The white cells are responsible for dealing with infection, making antibodies, involved in allergic reactions and removing foreign material from the body.
