The Karingal Veterinary Hospital
receives prestigious recognition
Karingal
Veterinary Hospital has received the prestigious “Hospital of Excellence
Accreditation” award from The Australian Small Animal Veterinary Association
(ASAVA).
The award recognises that Karingal Veterinary Hospital
conforms to the stringent standards set by The Australian Small Animal Veterinary
Association. These standards are based upon what humans expect from their own
doctors and medical facilities. It assures that Karingal Veterinary Hospital
provides very high standards of diagnostic, medical, surgical, laboratory and
nursing facilities.
A panel of veterinarians from the ASAVA independently
assessed Karingal Veterinary Hospital before the accreditation was granted.
To ensure that the hospital continually maintains the required standards it
is regularly inspected.
Practice owner, Dr. Scott Tinson and senior Veterinarian,
Dr. Shane Simpson, flew to Darwin to accept the award at the annual ASAVA Conference.
Karingal Veterinary Hospital is the only accredited
“Hospital of Excellence” in Frankston and on the Mornington Peninsula.
There are only 32 accredited veterinary hospitals throughout Australia.
